APC Policy
Cuadernos de Historia Cultural follows a no-APC policy for authors. The journal does not require authors to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) for the submission, peer review, editorial processing, or publication of scholarly manuscripts.
Authors may submit manuscripts for consideration without being required to make a payment as a condition of editorial evaluation or publication. All submissions are assessed according to the journal's academic scope, editorial standards, originality, research quality, and peer-review requirements.
The absence of an APC does not influence the editorial or peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scholarly merit, relevance, originality, methodological and academic quality, and compliance with the journal's publication standards. Editorial decisions are independent of an author's financial circumstances or institutional affiliation.
Authors should be aware that the journal's editorial policies and publication practices may be reviewed periodically to ensure the sustainability and quality of its scholarly publishing activities. Any material change to the journal's fee policy will be communicated transparently through the official journal website.
Cuadernos de Historia Cultural remains committed to supporting accessible scholarly communication and providing researchers with an opportunity to contribute to academic discussions without mandatory article processing charges.
